Girls,
Rain or No rain, THIS IS IT. We have reached the end of our 15 week Training program where we made a commitment to change our body for the better. I get very excited when I hear your sucess stories. Keep them coming.
We will run our Half Marathon this saturday. Start time is 6 am SHARP at Mile 0. We will start in the reverse direction upto Mile 2 and come back. Then, we will go up to Mile 6 and come back to starting point
1. Go from Mile 0/7.3 (Reverse direction) to Mile 2 - 5.3 Miles
2. Come back from Mile 2 to Mile 0/7.3 - 5.3 Miles
3. Go from Mile 0/7.3 (Reverse direction) to Mile 6 - 1.3 Miles
4. Come back from Mile 6 to Mile 0/7.3 - 1.3 Miles
Total is 13.2 miles. Yes, I am aware it is slightly more than 13.1 but an extra 0.1 mile will not hurt you. It is expected to be a hot day. Please hydrate well. Read these tips for running on a hot day. Some of the tips are very relevant to all of you.
Don't forget that you made a conscious decision 15 weeks ago to take on this challenge. Now, it is time to prove that you are tough and you will follow through on challenges.
We will not quit. WE CAN AND WE WILL.
