Answers to Frequently asked questions
You can always call me or text me and ask any questions you may have. But, here are the answers to some questions that I get frequently.

I am not a runner. I can only walk. Can I join?
Yes, you can. DESI GIRLS is not an exclusive club of runners. It is a gentle support system for anybody wanting to get fit. You can crawl, roll, walk, jog or run. The choice is yours.

What is the difference between the weekday training and the Saturday training?
Weekday training is TIME based and Saturday training is DISTANCE based. Weekday schedule is intended to get you comfortable with walking a longer duration so you are better equipped to do the Saturday DISTANCE based training. Both meet a specific objective
I have an injury. Can I still join?
DESI GIRLS is just a support system. I am not a qualified Running coach or Physiotherapist. Please consult your doctor before undertaking any strenuous activity. However, if you are reasonably fit, walking is a very good exercise.

Is there any cost to join DESI GIRLS?
The only cost is lost sleep on Saturday mornings. I have suggested that all of us should get a T Shirt. It is highly recommended since it is a group activity and it will be helpful to identify each other. But it is not compulsory

Tell me about the Whatsapp group.
While I use newsletters for formal communication, a whatsapp group is used for informal, last minute communication. Send me a note so I can include you in the group. It is a fun way to stay connected with other Desi Girls
