Desi Girls Summer 2015 - Week 11 - Midweek Chat

Girls,

First things first, we will go upto Mile 5 and come back to the parking lot. As always, if you feel your body is not ready to handle 10 miles, you have the choice of completing 7.3 miles and call it a day. The choice is yours. Obey your body.

You might notice that I talk about mental preparation a lot. Usually, its importance is under estimated but it is the single big difference between Champions and Quitters. Read here about the three lessons from Meb Keflezighi that all runners can implement. Meb is the only person in history to win an Olympic Marathon, NY City and Bostom Marathon. Also, I am happy to share the photo that I took with him when he did the countdown to the RnR CHI half Marathon few weeks ago.
